Administrators of InnoDB databases will recognize that InnoDB tables grow in size...but never shrink.
Whether this is a bug or a feature has been heavily discussed in years past, check here or here for more information, but either way the problem is that an InnoDB will grow the ibdata file, but not shrink it.
We ran across an interesting problem today in our environment.
We had two users, interestingly enough they both have the same last name, who were being prompted to enter their credentials for nearly everything they touched, shared drives, printers. They were also having issue with outlook personal folders.

Cluster resource 'Cluster Disk 1' (resource type '', DLL 'clusres.dll') either crashed or deadlocked. The Resource Hosting Subsystem (RHS) process will now attempt to terminate, and the resource will be marked to run in a separate monitor.
In Linux, it is possible to delete a file that has been opened by multiple processes. If you stop one of the process and delete the file without stopping the other process, the system will still show the disk space as being used.
