A while back, we were tasked with hardening TLSv1 on our server due to security concerns. For the most part this went well, however on some systems we began having issues connecting remotely with RDP.
Depending on the OS version you are running, you may receive any one of several different error in the event viewer, and you cannot even rely on the erro message presented to the user.
The first thing you may notice when this problem occurs, is the speed at which the user receives an error.

Recently, one of our vendors needed the ability to Remote Desktop, RDP, to a specific system in our environment. The vendor connects via Citrix and we only want them to be able to RDP to the one system.
Have you ever received a message of "The remote session was disconnected because there are not Remote Desktop client access licenses available for this computer"? or maybe something similar with Terminal Server instead of Remote Desktop in the message?
